The GUIguy has been a teacher for most of his adult life. In fact, he takes a teaching approach to his consulting work, preferring to enable his clients. While some think that it's a good way to become not needed, (and not get repeat business), it results in satisfied clients. They bring The GUIguy back for higher level consulting, and refer colleagues in the same and other companies to him for more work.
