Master Classes
A classical Master Class is a session where advanced students
demonstrate their accomplishments for a master teacher with
the understanding that the teacher will critique and coach
the student on how their work can be improved. Typically,
this is done in a "group" setting so that students
benefit from the instructions offered to others, and a wider
audience can observe.
However, in a departure from the classical tradition, the
other participants and the observers (if any) are encouraged
to contribute as well. (Discussing someone elses design
is frequently less threatening, and most people are more open
and less defensive when they are not in the spotlight.)
Master classes are available in both Windows Applications
User Interface Design and Website User Interface Design.
They can be modified in many ways depending on whether they
are done at a public conference, private (corporate) setting,
or other venue.

More detailed information on any of these sessions
is available by writing with
your request.
And, BTW, the GUIguy is always looking for new examples
of applications and websites that demonstrate both
good and bad design and/or usability. If you
see something that might be a candidate for inclusion
in a seminar, let him know via
email or send a message from the contacts page.
